Biotangents welcome Ole Kring as Non-Executive Director

30 March 2021

Biotangents are delighted to welcome Ole Kring as a Non-Executive Director. Ole brings a wealth of experience of the animal health and diagnostic sectors.

Ole has extensive knowledge of the veterinary diagnostics sector and developed and sold diagnostics for companion animals (pets) for more than 10 years. He was formerly CEO of Scandinavian Micro Biodevices, which was acquired in 2016 by Zoetis, the number one global animal health player. Ole remained as CEO in what became Zoetis Denmark.

Ole holds an MSc in Economy & Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School. In 2018 he joined the sovereign Danish Growth Fund (Vækstfonden), where he is Partner with responsibility for Life Sciences. He holds board positions with a number of bioscience and technology companies.

Ole commented: “I am excited to join the board of Biotangents, as I believe that the company has developed a technology and product offering that will make a real impact in the production animal space. This is an area that has long been underserved when it comes to good diagnostic solutions compared to the companion animal sector.

From my former role as CEO of Scandinavian Micro Biodevices and Zoetis Denmark, I have a deep knowledge of the diagnostic sector, gained from developing and producing diagnostics for companion animals for more than 10 years. With my knowledge of the environment and its needs, I am truly excited about the potential of the Biotangents technology, which can be applied both to production and companion animals.
