Biotangents Co-founder Lina Gasiūnaitė enters finals for the Scottish Women’s Awards 2019

The Scottish Women’s Awards 2019, now in their 3rd year, recognise and celebrate female Scottish talent. Finalists have been shortlisted from women and organisations pioneering change in industries across Scotland based on public nominations.


The ceremony in Glasgow’s Crowne Plaza Hotel on Wednesday 28th August 2019 are set to be a great night. The awards highlight the achievements of women in many roles across sectors including business, sport, technology, management and charity celebrating the nominee’s individual contribution to society.


Lina Gasiūnaitė is a finalist in the entrepreneurship category and will discover if she is a winner on the night of the event in Glasgow.


Lina Gasiūnaitė is Co-Founder and Director of Science at Biotangents, a veterinary diagnostics company based in Scotland, developing pen-side tests for infectious diseases of livestock.


Creative Oceanic have delivered award ceremonies for nearly a decade in cities around the world, including Belfast, Dublin, Toronto, London, Glasgow, Cardiff, Manchester, Leicester, Birmingham and is soon launching in New York.
